This was the best organized and fun event I’ve been to in my 11 years as a father!
Nothing beats the smiles of our athletes crossing the finish line and you can have front row seat! Volunteering with Tri 4 Schools is both easy and fun – no experience necessary!
Volunteers receive a “Difference Maker” volunteer shirt to wear while volunteering and refreshments during race shifts.
Individuals age 16 and older can sign up to volunteer on their own; those younger than age 16 can volunteer with their parent or guardian onsite. Volunteers of any age should fill out the volunteer form below. Volunteering with a friend is double the fun; if you would like to be staffed in the same location as a friend, please note that request in the comments section on the form.
To volunteer at an event, please fill out our Volunteer Form below and we will contact you with further details.
Click here to be added to our Volunteer Newsletter email group to receive an email once a month with information on all our current volunteer needs. You can also join the Tri 4 Schools Volunteer Task Force group on Facebook to hear about various volunteer needs throughout the year.
We want to keep you informed on the ways we keep our volunteers safe. Here are a few things you can expect when volunteering at a Tri 4 Schools event:
Volunteer or Coach with our Youth Training Teams
Tri 4 Schools is always looking for adult coaches (paid position) and volunteers (age 16 or older) to help make our events and Training Team programs a success. Volunteer roles include: Lifeguards, Swim Lesson Assistants, Transition Clinic Assistants, and Assistant Coaches.
Training Team locations and schedules vary; please fill out our Volunteer form if you are interested learning more about volunteer opportunities or email rhagen@tri4schools.org if you would like to find out more about paid coaching positions.

We’re supporting the well-being of kids inside and outside the classroom.
Since 2011, we’ve donated over $450,000 to over 200 schools and 22,000 kids have crossed the finish line!
