In just over a week, nearly 1,000 kids and adults will get muddy for a great cause!

We started hosting youth mud runs in 2013 as a way to get more kids involved in our organization in a less-intimidating way than a triathlon, and because mud runs combine two things we’re all about – FUN + RUNNING!  These events have become our biggest events each year, and this year we’re poised to pass the 1,000 person barrier for the first time.  Wow!

This spring’s theme will be “America!”.  Check out our youth t-shirt design:

Pair this with some red, white, and blue stars or stripes, and you’re ready to kick off summer America-style!  Our medal is in a similar style, but we’ll wait until race week to reveal it.

So, what are you in for on the course this time around?  Well, we’ve added in a few new obstacles and kept in some of your favorites (or not-so-favorites depending on how you feel about ice dumpsters).   Check out all three course maps and obstacles here:

Finally, we’re thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Focal Flame Photography to offer FREE photo downloads to all participants.  Be sure to wear your race bib, and remember your wave number so you can check out your pics after the race.  New this year, we will be integrating our Facebook page with their official app to help you easily post and share your best muddy smiles!

We hope you enjoy your morning, and consider making a donation to support Tri 4 Schools on our website or on event day.  This helps us keep 100% of the race entry fees dedicated to improving wellness and fitness resources in our schools.

Thanks, and let’s get muddy!
