We’re just over a week away from the Summit Credit Union Haunted Hustle! We hope you’ll join us next Saturday at 3:30pm for our NEW kids fun run presented by Theresa Juhlin Orthodontics, which kicks off a weekend of healthy activities for the whole family!
At Tri 4 Schools, we’ve always made it a priority to host opportunities for kids and adults to be active together – after all, parents play a huge role in determining whether or not their children live a healthy lifestyle. So, you can clearly see why we’re stoked to partner with the Summit Credit Union Haunted Hustle to add a kids run in to their lineup of running races.
Our race offers kids 12 and under the opportunity to run in the quarter, half, or one mile run, and costumes are highly encouraged! In fact, I’m excited to share that my daughter is running the quarter mile for her very first race…look for the tiny toddler in the Queen Elsa costume! Sign up here to guarantee your child a spot – which includes a sweet swag bag, glow-in-the-dark t-shirt, and sparkly pumpkin medal.
Adults – we encourage you to get involved as well. There are races for every distance and skill level – from a stroller 5k all the way up to the full marathon on Sunday, and yes, costumes are encouraged for YOU too.
In addition to the active part of the weekend, the Summit Credit Union Haunted Hustle aims to be a family-friendly Halloween celebration. By partnering with Keva Sports, they have tons of fun for all ages:
- Kids activities with Keva coaches while adults run in their events
- Bonfire and S’mores
- Face-painting
- Live music
- Sunday pancake breakfast
You won’t want to miss out on this fun and healthy event – and remember, 100% of the kids race proceeds benefit us here at Tri 4 Schools to help keep your kids active in school!
