Our sponsors are an important piece in the success of our events and achievement of our goals. It’s an honor to partner with the wonderful Prairie Athletic Club! They share our vision of promoting healthy lifestyles and fitness opportunities within the community. We asked Sponsorship Director Erin Sadler a few questions about our partnership, and here is what she had to say…
Prairie Athletic Club is celebrating their 40th year as an important part of the Sun Prairie community this year. In that time, Prairie Athletic Club has been able to support and host numerous local charities, like Sunshine Place, the Sun Prairie Education Foundation, Tellurian, local schools, Semper Fi/America’s Fund and local youth sports, just to name a few. We are honored to partner with them on our upcoming Sun Prairie Kids Triathlon on July 9th!
What inspired you to partner with us?
The Tri 4 Schools dedication to giving back to local area schools and making sure the event is accessible all children, regardless of financial status. Focusing on good, healthy habits early ensures our Sun Prairie community grows into a healthy one.
The values Prairie Athletic Club looks for when considering to partner with nonprofits align with the values of Tri 4 Schools. They seek opportunities to promote a healthy lifestyle and support fitness goals as well as give back to the local Sun Prairie community.
What other types of youth programs do you offer?
We offer many youth programs. We pride ourselves on being a unique health club that focuses on the entire family. One of our slogans is “Health and fitness for every generation.” We were voted ‘Best Thing for Kids to Do’ by Best Of Sun Prairie this year!
You can find a list of the wide variety of Youth Programs they offer on their website, prairieathletic.com under the heading PAC Programs Information, listed beneath Youth Programs Tab.
How is the Tri 4 Schools Exercise to Achievement program going so far?
I can say that both from an administrative side and from a parent perspective, the kids are loving it! It is empowering for them to feel comfortable with their ability to do the kids triathlon and in developing a new set of skills, as well as fostering a new love of sport for triathlon. From a personal perspective, my own two kiddos love going and have already decided to increase the distance they had originally signed on to participate in the event!
What are you most looking forward to on race day?
Seeing the sense of accomplishment and smiles on all the kids faces!
Thank you, Prairie Athletic Club, for your support and involvement with us this year!
