Amanda joined the Tri 4 Schools team in 2021 with extensive experience in project management, business development and event management. Amanda’s favorite part of Tri 4 Schools is that we have the honor of creating experiences that positively impact the well-being of children, but also extend that impact to their classmates and schools. Amanda is an experienced triathlete with a passion for events. She loves to be outside, especially on the lake!

After 20 years spent as a swim coach in Madison, Arizona & Baltimore, Rachael transitioned to the world of Aquatic Programming and Management at Harbor Athletic Club. At Harbor, she started coaching for Tri 4 Schools and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work full time for her favorite nonprofit in 2021.  Rachael loves watching the kids’ confidence grow from the first day of training to the last and is proud that Tri 4 Schools gives opportunities to kids who wouldn’t usually have them. Rachael loves to name her pets after real people, like her cat, Jack Rathbone. She and her husband Dan love to travel, especially to National Parks, and spend lots of time hiking and kayaking.

After refining her project management skills in theatrical stage management and healthcare implementation, Katie joined the team in 2016. Her favorite part of being involved in Tri 4 Schools is seeing the determined, young racing faces turn to finish-line smiles on race morning. Katie loves to bake and share treats with the team (we can attest that they are amazing). Her favorite sports team is the Wisconsin Badgers, she loves ice cream, attending and creating theatre.

Our volunteers are just as big a part of our team as the staff are! To create a unique, safe, and fun experience for kids, every event takes over 100 volunteers. We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without our incredible and committed volunteers.
