We’re honored to work with not one, but TWO amazing and motivated UW students this summer.  Meet Devin Deegan, who is eager to help kids do their best inside and outside the classroom.

Hello, my name is Devin Deegan and I am a new intern with Tri 4 Schools this summer. I am from the small town of Albany, WI which is located about 30 minutes south of Madison. This fall I will be a junior at UW-Madison, double majoring in Education and Psychology with a certificate in Leadership. After graduation, I plan on attending graduate school for an educational leadership or hospital administration program. Some of my hobbies include fishing, playing and watching sports, exploring Madison, and sampling new Babcock ice cream flavors at the terrace!

At UW-Madison I am an active member in Bucky’s Classroom, which is an outreach program committed to promoting the value of higher education among K-8 students across the state of Wisconsin and beyond. Serving as an ambassador in this program has fueled my passion for working with young people and helping them to achieve their goals.  I have always been involved in sports, playing football, basketball, and baseball since I was ten years old. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm for helping others, sports, and living an active lifestyle to Tri 4 Schools this summer.

As an intern with Tri 4 Schools, I am most excited about being able to give back to a community that has provided us, as university students, so many great opportunities. This has allowed UW-Madison to flourish into the nationally ranked university it is today. I also am eager to learn about how a nonprofit operates and have an active role in helping every kid to reach their full potential. I am very excited to begin with Tri 4 Schools and I look forward to meeting you all this summer!
